This full set of questions based on Edexcel five themes cover all the aspects of speaking questions. The speaking questions include English translation and relevant vocabulary in English, pinyin and characters. This is suitable for self-learning, personal tuition or whole class work. 3 people a group. The one rolling the dice lands on the question which the other two can ask the question.
2 people a group. The one rolling the dice and landing on the question will have to answer the question, and the person who is waiting can ask the question.
There are many ways you can play this game. It works out so well as an end of term speaking practice or beginning of term revision practice!

This ppt includes the different ANDs in Chinese, and two quizzes including answers and clues which give differentiated tasks to different levels. The differentiation between different ‘AND’ in Chinese are specifically important for speaking and writing work.
This work can take up to 3 hours of lesson time. You can split the ppt into a few lessons, or whenever it is necessary you can introduce bits of information or print this out as a handout for reference. A very versatile resource.

This powerpoint includes 6 kinethetic challenges that are related to Chinese culture, art and writing. The challenges altogether can be used as a 2-hour workshop alone just to spice up the fun of learning Chinese. I used it for one of the field day sessions and it worked wonders! The kids love it!
Under the slides there are also description and explanation on how to play the games. It is suitable for the number of students between 20 -50. All the challenges are hyper-linked to the right slide, so that it is easy to manipulate for teachers.

In this video, we are going to learn and master the content about environmental protection. This is one of the most advanced topics in new Chinese GCSE, but I will take you through under 10 minutes.
