Pupils need to try and come up with a hypothesis, collect a sample and test the hypothesis. Data is not random, there are connections and correlations to be discovered. Nice Halloween task or project to get students ready for statistics coursework.

THe sheets and most the answers generate automatically, either print the first sheet off each day or create a booklet. This could work brilliantly as once a day booklet to improve numeracy skills of SEN pupils. Simply print of all of the sheets, design a school specific front page and send home.
