This resource can be used to introduce the topic of mortages to secondary school students. It could also be printed and used as a classroom display - which supports the use of numeracy in the classroom. It provides a basic introduction to what a mortgage is and then looks at two people buying a house (Jack and Jill) and what their repayments would be each month and how much they would end of paying in interest.
