Very simple, 9 boggle cards in a PDF format, increasing in difficulty. The cards contain areas to write your words and a space for total. I have these printed and laminated, and students use them as an extension or warm-up activity. Students could try and beat their own/ others scores.

An interactive show (.ppsx) of the first stave of A Christmas Carol. Using the newer Disney version for visual aids alongside the original text, this makes the Act simple to follow and comprehend. An incredibly easy to use resource, use your left/right to move the story along. Words in bold have been defined- you simply hover over the word and click, then click again to remove the pop-up definition. This is for use with lower-ability or SEND students, minor parts of the act have been left out where complex language was used unnecessarily.

Basic printout bookmark resource for GCSE command words. This is useful for LA, SEND or EAL students in particular, to aid understanding of exam questions.

A PDF file containing descriptions and quotes of the key characters. The first TWO pages are the character cards and descriptions The rest of the pages contain quotes from staves 1-4 to match to characters NOTE: speech bubbles with _ _ _ _ _ _ _ gaps at the bottom do not match to character cards- they are minor characters like Belle and can be written in or spoken aloud. To use: print and cut out (laminate). Upon reading each stave, hand out the quotes and a set of characters to match the quote to character. Once reading of the book is finished- you could also use all of the resources for revision. Quotes can also be used for other activities- such as analysis. ‘What does this quote from Stave 4 suggest about Scrooge’s transition?’ There is also an answer sheet!
