I have been searching for a fun and engaging way to incorporate playdough into my math centers. I was struggling to find ways to use playdough with my 2nd graders. I decided to fix that problem and created some of my own! I would like to note that these mats could be used with dobbers, markers, crayons, even watercolor pencils or whatever you choose. My kids can NOT get ENOUGH of non-fiction. This unit is all about the Brown Bear. I like being able to engage my students in these research projects during our ELA block. I can expose them to challenging vocabulary, begin research projects and encourage their writing, while also introducing them to simplistic oral presentations. **This is the UK version with metric measurements included.
