Teacher Quadrant To Do List

Up-level your To-Do list with this Eisenhower Matrix. This is a 2-page document with the first explaining how to use this to-do list effectively and the second, a printable to-do list. I use this to-do list at work to make me the most productive I can be. It enables me to get everything off my head and organise my to-do list into things that are urgent and important and things that I can DELETE! Top tip: Lamintate the sheet and use post-it notes or write on the laminated document… Hope this helps you! Best wishes, Natalie Instagram: @classroom_sparkle

Back to School Recount Writing (Imaginative)

This includes a lesson plan and slides for recount writing based on the story: The Truth about My Unbelievable Summer by David Cali. The aim is to use this as a back to school assessment of writing activity and can be up-levelled according to the year group you teach. This will produce more imaginative writing than a ‘what did you do this summer’ recount which a) doesn’t inspire children to write and b) isn’t inclusive, as some children might not have done much whereas other might have gone on several holidays. The lesson goes through: What a recount is and how to write one Questions to ask the children about the story How to plan a recount Scaffolded Sheet for writing I hope you enjoy using this resource in your classroom! (To use my font you will need to download: Dreaming Outloud Sans and Bobby Jones Soft) Best wishes, Natalie Instagram: classroom_sparkle
