Developing this section of simple tricky word games to play as a quick fun intervention to help children learn their tricky words. These could even be printed and sent home for the children to play. More coming soon to this resource…

We have used this booklet as a final activity in a wider intervention where the children have been playing games and practising other skills too. Children were expected to find the phoneme on one day, with an added ‘follow the pattern’ activity to complete should there be time and then write/trace the phoneme in the next session.

We use these phonics busy books for children who have finished their phonics task and are waiting for other children to finish.
