A fractions quiz for Functional Skill Maths and KS3 learners.
This fractions quiz takes the form of an interactive resource . With multiple-choice questions provided for the learner, they can use their knowledge of Maths to complete the fractions quiz to the best of their ability.
Questions include finding a fraction with a unit numerator, finding a fraction with a non-unit numerator, worded questions and finding an original amount. At the end of each question/task, the learner will receive feedback o if their answer was correct or not, helping to solidify knowledge and highlight gaps.

I like to use this differentiated question sheets as a starting point in lessons to recap topics already covered as it easily picks up misconceptions, then again as a plenary or mini-plenary. Twelve exam style questions that are great for Revision before exam includes popular exam topics such as tree diagrams, scatter graphs, percentages, scale maps and drawings, formula, barcharts and averages and range. I focused on areas identified in examiner reports as being weak.
I have included instructions off how to run the revision relay. I have used it as a traditional quiz with answers displayed on screen and learners marking each others work.
I have also used it as a revision race, with each question being printed on separate sheets (or a few on A3 paper) and learners only getting next question when their answer is checked and correct.
