The Humanities Workshop

Average Rating4.25
(based on 9 reviews)

As I started my teaching career in a 'special measures' school in Blackpool, more than anything, I relied on my self-made and carefully crafted resources to engage, entertain and teach those wonderful kids how to learn and achieve. Today, after qualifying as an 'outstanding' teacher, teaching full-time for four years and moving to Germany, I try my very best to replicate that mentality every single day. All resources are crafted to suit areas of either GCSE, A Level or the IB. Enjoy!

Politics Debate - Nuclear Weapons

(0)
This resource offers students an opportunity to discuss the issue of nuclear weapons. Both contentious and contemporary arguments, rhetoric and ideas are used to engage and promote discussion, debate and establish objective criticisms of common arguments. The debate should always be conducted in a light-hearted and positive way, promoting the idea of freedom of expression, speech and right to critique. In order to have the best experience, I would advice teachers to give their students an opportunity to prepare themselves using the information packet included prior to the debate. Ideal of Politics AS/A2 and International Diploma Programme.
