Teacher of English and Media Studies. Working within education for over twenty years. Qualified with PCET in 2004. Worked within the F.E. sector for eight years later transferring competent skills set to the secondary sector. Professional equivalency (QTS) through S.E.T membership conferred in 2016 with QTLS recognition. Highly skilled in subject expertise and outstanding classroom practitioner. In my role as a supply English teacher in both the secondary and the F.E. sector I have been required to attend continuous professional development in safeguarding and learning outcomes. It is essential that my subject specialist knowledge is updated through the reading of chief examiners reports of candidate responses and action the findings through altering resources which will improve student achievement. Twilight Sessions in various settings have been attended to improve delivery and professional development throughout my posts.
