Four PPTs which introduce the topic of weather and climate. First PPT presents the atmosphere, troposphere, latitude and sun. It is a 14 slide PPT with recap questions at the end. Slide 2 is based on air masses and weather systems. It has 22 slides, plenty of images, links to animations, homework exercises and class activities. A lot of the activities are based on the Irish book ‘New Geo’ by EDCO and also linked with RTE (an Irish channel), however these can be adapted to suit your curriculum/textbook etc… The ocean current PPT has 9 slides and includes a think-pair-share activity as well as 2 recap questions. The final PPT is based on wind and the coriolis effect. There are 15 slides, a link to an animation and plenty of images.
