Christian Teachings Homework Booklet Edexcel B
This is a 6 week homework booklet about Christian teachings.
I use it as an introduction before we start the GCSE course.
Each week has 2 pages of work and should take between 20 minutes to half an hour to complete.
I peer mark at the beginning of lessons whilst walking around to check no one is doing their homework or cheating. Then during the lesson I can quickly walk around and circle their mark.
The following from the Bible is covered:
10 commandments
Parable of the Sheep and the Goats
Sermon on the Mount
A new commandment I give to you…
The Great Commission
The last week is them finding three key teachings of their own.
The workbook is fully adaptable if you want to use it as worksheets or individual homeworks instead.
Although I have written this for Edexcel B you can change the first task by just putting in the other exam boards units.
AQA Religious Studies Marking Stickers
Use these to mark pupils work quickly. I have used the exam board marking criteria to create them
Pupils stick it on their work after they have completed a question and then you circle the mark they have been given.
For peer assessment you can print onto green stickers so that the difference is clear in books.
These cut down on marking time and also stand out in books so that when book checks are done the marking is visible.
They are set up for sticker size 99.1mmx38.1mm
