If your little learners are learning about addition and subtraction then these cards would be ideal for math centers. There are 40 cards in total, 20 addition and 20 subtraction, focusing on the numbers 0-10 and designed in red Candyland theme colors to complement the Candyland classroom decor also available. The questions support the Math Curriculum and standards to be met. Each card has a cotton candy visual representation rather than a number, consolidating previously learned counting skills before adding them or subtracting them to find an answer. These cards are versatile, they can be enlarged using your printer settings to create flashcards for larger groups of children, or printed as they are currently designed, to create a math center activity. If you laminate them after printing, youngsters can write on them with a dry wipe pen, or simply copy them onto paper or in their notebook. This is a great resource for the busy teacher as there minimal prep needed - you can simply print, cut and go!

Continents mini booklet

Make learning about our continents engaging and fun with this hands on creative activity. Children can order the size of the continents, name them, add surrounding oceans and identify countries within in them. There is scope to add more facts in order to differentiate tasks. This no prep activity consists of 7 circles with each of the continents inside them. Learners need to lay the circles on top of each other in size order to create the booklet and attach them with a split pin. From here, they can see the size order of the continents and they can begin to identify them and add relevant facts. The finished activity would look great on your next bulletin/display board, or even glued into books for future reference. This is a valuable resource which has always been popular with my students over the years. It will make it easier for them to retain key continent information.
