The activities are designed for Early Years
pupils however they are suitable for pupils with SEN. There are 10 Christmas
tree play dough mats which can aid number recognition from 1-10 and
counting. Pupils can use play dough to make baubles or alternatively use
buttons, beads, pom poms or dry wipe markers.

Simply print out and laminate, pupils can use dry wipe pens, pegs or counters to identify the correct number of pumpkins from a choice of three.

This fun pumpkin addition game can be played alone or with a partner. Pupils roll a die then add that amount of pumpkin seeds on one half of the pumpkin. Record the number in the space provided and then repeat for the other half of the pumpkin. Pupils can then add all the seeds together and record the answer. This is a great way to reinforce addition using concrete objects.
Differentiate by using die with dots or numbers or by adding more die to the game.
Simply print and laminate.
