I made these resources to help my class with the arithmetic element of the SATS paper. Every morning when they come in they complete the task for that day. It has been a huge success! The sheets are in our schools default font but I have converted them to a PDF for ease of use. These questions are a combination of all the expected SATs questions. Some of the questions towards the end weeks are based on reasoning questions.

This activity is based on the concept of doing 2 or 4 daily arithmetic questions. The questions are based on examples from the SATS paper and the structure it uses. Each week is a different theme and there are varied questions each day. For autumn the questions are based on number, addition, subtraction and multiplication. Where there are two questions per day children can show their workings out if needed. Question 4 is normally an obscure question that makes the children fully apply their knowledge. A whole unit of work for Animals including Humans. There are a total of 15 lessons. The first half focuses on the human element and the second on animals.
