Print on cardstock and laminate to last for years to come. Make 1 game board for every 2-3 students.
You will need 2 dice for each game board. You also need bingo chips to mark squares. Or, if laminated, students can use a dry erase marker to initial a square.
Students take turns rolling the dice to determine which square. Students must correctly conjugate the verb in the square for both of the subjects to win it. Student with most squares at the end of time wins the game OR student who gets 6 in a row (“bingo”) wins.
Version 1 has 12 irregular verbs which are commonly taught in French 1: aller, avoir, boire, devoir, être, faire, mettre, pouvoir, prendre, venir, voir, vouloir.
Version 2 has 36 irregular verbs which are commonly taught by the end of French 2: the 12 from version 1 plus apercevoir, apprendre, conduire, connaître, courir, croire, devenir, dire, dormir, écrire, lire, mourir, offrir, ouvrir, permettre, promettre, recevoir, reprendre, revenir, savoir, servir, sortir, suivre, vivre.

Worksheet gives 6 subjects, each with 5 pictures of activities. For each subject, students write 5 sentences, one with each of the modal verbs. Students choose which activity to use with each verb: dürfen (to be allowed to), können (to be able), müssen (to have to), sollen (to be supposed to), wollen (to want).
Each partner gets a half sheet with 12 pictures on it (6 for questions and 6 for answers). Students take turns asking and answering at what time their partner does each of the activities. Directions are in English, so may be used for any language.
