This resource consists of 12 Videos with questionnaires aimed at GCSE students. Each questionnaire is made of 4 to 6 Comprehension activities related to the video + an extra activity ( Reading or Cultural Point). Each video lasts between 1 and 3 mn and covers one of the following topic:
Describing oneself
Town & Transport
Eating & Cooking
Fashion & Clothes
Chores, Helping at Home
Family
Home & Furniture
Holidays
Routine
School & Work
The Environment
French Language & French People
Most of the videos have two versions: one with subtitles and one without. The topic covered is indicated on the Video file name. Since the videos are too heavy to upload, I provided a link on the questionnaire to access them.
The questionnaires are compiled in a Word doc and the answers to each questionnaire are provided on a separate Word doc attached. Each document is fully editable.
I came up with this idea of video activities because GCSE textbooks never provide videos to illustrate a topic, and there very few GCSE videos online. My students found these useful to reinforce the vocab and very relevant to their French experience as the videos are authentic and show French speaking people in real life.
I would welcome your feedback.
