A long term overview for all subjects for teaching in Year 1. The overview is made up of suggestions and recommendations for teaching all subjects in line with the National Curriculum. Useful links to resources are throughout the document (most links are easily accessible online but some links may require paid subscriptions to resource website). Suggested topics/projects for each half-term are outlined, with most subjects then being linked with topic for that half-term. Subjects included in the document are: English, Phonics, SPaG/Grammar, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Computing, PHSE, RE and Art. Document is in Microsoft Word format so is easily editable. Aimed at teaching all Year 1 National Curriculum objectives and is also suitable for mixed Year 1/2 classes.
