Takes pupils through how to structure their response, including a thesis statement at the beginning.

Theme lesson covering the main themes:
Social Responsibility, Social Class, Age (Older vs Younger generation), Gender, Guilt and Consequences and Wealth, Power and Influence.
Group work lesson- fantastic for revising!
In groups pupils discuss one of the following themes in AIC and consider how it relates to the play. They then complete their theme worksheet with:
A summary of their key theme, including any motifs it links to and how their key theme links to which parts of the play. They then have to add quotations and techniques to the worksheet.
Once all the worksheets have been completed, I photocopied them into booklets for their theme revision at home.
The resource includes a summary of each key theme, motifs linked to that theme and key quotes linking to that theme- everything pupils need to complete their worksheets.
