Designed to boost exam skills and get students thinking of the reasons why Hitler was appointed Chancellor in Jan 1933.
Card sort activity could be used in a multitude of ways and then an example essay plan using a PEEL structure to encourage analysis
A lesson designed to get the chronology of events between Jan 1933 - August 1934. Students then encouraged to consider if the events are ‘legal or not’ and then apply learning to an essay question.

Really simple format - video from Gatsby at beginning students asked to jot down what it reveals about life in the 20s and additionally why they think it was nicknamed 'roaring'. Student encouraged to see link between end of war and this party decade. Info sheet for them to complete a written task - with built in challenge. then 'become the expert' plenary
Detailed lessons, resources and powerpoints that charts the Nazi persecution of the Jews and other 'undesirables'. Really emphasises the idea that it is a sliding scale of persecution not just death camps. Designed for the AQA democracy and participation A level but could easily be adapted to younger years.

Could be used as revision or integrated into your teaching. Activities built in where students asked to comment on what is good / bad examples. Another activities asks students to use their notes to add details.
As I say this took me an age to create during the Covid 19 lockdown - I hope it is useful - it will absolutely save you time and improve grades at the same time!
This should save you tons of time! I have used the spec and the AQA revision guides / textbooks to create a massive document covering the whole course complete with activities and exam questions. Also includes a ‘How to guide’ for the exam questions. I haven’t covered the Historical site material however.
