The pack includes a PPT covering the events of the Peasant Revolt in 1391. The PPT has: information about the event key word defintions the causes of the revolt the events of the rebellion The PPT uses “comic strip” styles to convey the story in a colourful, engaging manner. Also included is a source based assessment task (including a modified task for students will different learning needs). This could be used as a task following the PPT, or as an end of topic summative task. The contents of the PPT could be used to generate discussion, further task sheets, etc.

This pack contains material for 2 lessons that I used with a Year 7 History class studying medical history. Pack includes: Lesson 1 - Medieval Medicine. PPT contains information about: theories that caused illness, the four humours, how illness was investigated, how the sick were treated/cured, barber surgeons. Task sheet included with questions that can be answers using the PPT, or used for class discussion. Lesson 2 - Crime and Punishment. 2 PPTs contain the following: medieval crimes and how they were dealt with, the various punishments and trails (trail by water, trial by fire, trial by combat etc), who kept the peace, comparison with punishments used in modern society. Task sheet included. The material here can be used as is, or developed further into a unit of work.
