I take no credit for the two written resources (collaboration, and interview transcript) but they are used for the lesson. I used the interview transcript when discussing dummies as a reading task, then the collaborative process resource is directly used in the PowerPoint for a reading comprehension task.

This lesson follows on from Zero Degrees Section 1 and Intro to Akram Khan. It covers Sections 3 (Shadows and Sufi) and Section 7 (Barhant - Attack and Block). It could be used as a stand-alone lesson, but includes starter questions from previous lesson (about Zero Degrees starting points etc). It includes activities, a notes page for students to use, a blank A3 analysis grid with examples in the PowerPoint and a homework task.

3 lessons worth of following the choreographic process in detail, with activities and embedded videos. L1 - overview of whole process. Use research, improvisation and generation to make a motif based on stone balancing. L2 - recap of process. Develop motif using space and choreographic devices. L3 - form, structure, and refine. Created for AS dance but would also be suitable for GCSE level.

The PowerPoint includes slides on the choreographer, company, costume, set, props, lighting and accompaniment for Shadows. Included are some worksheets I created to go along with the lessons including a costume booklet and differentiated starter sheets.

This 52 page booklet covers 6 lessons of theoretical and practical activities to cover the themes and constituent features of A Linha Curva. The activities vary and there are accompanying resources, some of which can be cut out into task cards. Included are mini class assessment questions and essay questions, alongside homework activities and key word definitions. If you use this please review it!
