Four worksheets working on division using the short division method. The first sheet works on being able to divide into decimal numbers using 5 to always get a round answer. The second sheet then looks at word problems with a divisor of one digit. The third sheet moves on to dividing by two digit numbers before then moving on to word problems involving two digit divisors.
A comprehensive set of resources for anyone to be able to teach a block on writing discussion texts. Planned for Year 5 but very easily adaptable to Year 4 or Year 6.

Three differentiated resources used with Year 5 children to work on antonyms and synonyms. The first activity requires children to find five antonyms and five synonyms for each word listed. The second activity begins with a similar activity to the first activity, before moving on to a passage where children have to replace the underlined words with synonyms. The third activity starts with an activity where children have to replace the underlined words with synonyms before moving on to a passage where they have to pick out words they can replace with synonyms.
A workbook suitable for children in Year 5 and 6. This 22 page booklet looks at a range of aspects, getting children to work through questions related to areas of grammar and in being able to use a dictionary accurately. It is perfect for 5-10 minute bursts during register time or can be used as an extended activity for a lesson if plans have fallen through/ changed, with children able to pick it up as and when.
A resource activity that tests children's ability to use search engines accurately with 25 questions across a range of topics. Quickly find out children's capabilities and the different ways in which they use Google before then being able to use this to inform a unit of work that looks at using search engines effectively.

A booklet full of fun, engaging and easy scientific experiments. All 46 experiments include what is required, instructions to complete it properly and an explanation of what is happening. Children will have great fun testing these experiments whilst learning at the same time.
11 different worksheets that each have a different algebraic activity. These include: calculating answers when given what each letter represents; having to work out what each letter represents with various degrees of challenge; having to come up with numbers to make a number sentence make sense; simplifying equations and solving a puzzle of shapes and what each one is worth.
This is a PowerPoint that includes 100 slides looking at a big range of grammar and punctuation features. These include looking at defining, showing examples and for some activities for children to complete.
This can be used for a range of features including: revision activities, starters, morning activities for some and to just quickly find examples for a range of features.
An activity that looks at being able to create a fast food business with children. This activity can be done over a day or over a number of days/ weeks through discrete sessions. In groups they will allocate themselves roles and take responsibility for different aspects of the business. This all ends in children having to show their advert and pitch, with one group being crowned the winner at the end.
N.B: Children will need filming equipment for their advert whether it be a camera or iPad.
Any fast food advert will do for the advert example.
Any example pitch from the Apprentice will work appropriately.

10 different word searches for children to work through. These include ones that lead to future activities such as adjectives, verbs and adverbs where children can then try and include these in sentences/ change the tense of the verb.

As well as providing a list of different words to assign children for spellings, these lists can be used for many other activities including getting children to use dictionaries to define words, looking at prefixes and suffixes and the way in which the meaning of words change and finding words that they can change this way.
A range of differentiated resources available for children that require them to use the Singapore Bar method to help them solve problems. These include finding fractions of quantities and finding original numbers from fractions as well as then working through a range of tricky word problems.
The final resource provides real challenge for children in working with a range of fractions and steps.
Four differentiated worksheets that get children to look at different aspects of grammar within a sentence and the way they are made up, using particular colours for particular features.
The first sheet gets children to simply identify the subject, predicate and any punctuation within the sentence using three different colours.
The second sheet looks at the same three features as well as then moving on to getting children to look for fronted adverbials using a different colour.
The third sheet looks at the features above and gets children to identify subordinate clauses within a sentence as well.
The fourth sheet then gives children sentences that they need to start with a fronted adverbial before giving children sentences that they must add a subordinate clause to, playing around with the position of clauses afterwards.
