All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I find some free coding to create a new type of activity and then find some suitable content. Any content can be adapted to any activity. All I need is feedback and requests.

End of term cryptic puzzle.
Fun but educational.
We spend a lot of time getting learners to “think inside the box” but what about “outside of the box”.
You maybe surprised at the skills of some learners.

I have created another version of the “boggle puzzle” but this time as simple “drop down pictures” for those who don’t need a worksheet version.
It also means that if I get some positive feedback to the concept I can just keep adding to the pictures.

This is a new concept so any feedback would be very welcome.
Following on from [appearing pictures with questions] I wondered if the same format could be used to give learners information. I found that the greatest advantage was that once you had a number of facts in the labels with relevant pictures, subsequent facts and pictures could be added and slotted in at the appropriate position.
By highlighting specific words, explanations as to their meanings could be given making the understanding of the topic more thorough.
This might be an appropriate activity for catch-up, revision or consolidation.
