Looks at language, writing detailed explanations/analysis and creating PEA/PEE chains. I created this as groundwork for an end of term assessment which will ask how and why Scrooge changes throughout the novel.

Pupils are asked to read a short extract from STAVE 4 and then look closely at the effective language.
