I have a selection of full lessons and display resources that I have built for my own lessons. They are all structured in a consistent way and are all automated so that they are easy to use. Some of the resources are free and others are paid for, anything that links together can be bought as a bundle.

Ordering decimals with adding and subtracting decimals

This is a full lesson based on 80 mins. It starts with an ordering numbers settling starter and the learning objectives slide. There is then a starter of addition and subtraction using column method. This lesson is slightly different to the others as the content in the middle has two sections you can either do both or select what you need. The first is ordering decimals and the second is adding and subtracting decimals. Both come with examples, notes for in books and then differentiated questions. The extra practice activity for this lesson is the shopping list activity from the addition and subtraction lesson followed by a worded question plenary

This is a full lesson based on 80 mins that could be adapted for shorter lessons. There is a settling starter to recap square numbers followed by the learning objective slide. There is then a short starter about how to write in index form. There are then examples of indices with multiplication, division and brackets and notes to put into books. There are then differentiated questions followed by a tarzia activity for extra practice. Tarzia is not supported on TES so I have copied it into a word document for use. There is then a exit ticket plenary. The whole lesson is fully animated.

This is a full lesson based on 80 mins but could easily be altered for a shorter lesson. There is a countdown style starter activity followed by the learning objectives slide. The starter for the lesson is basic division questions followed by the main lesson. The main lesson consists of worked examples that move through to decimals and are all animated on the slides. There are then a selection of differentiated questions and answers. The answers come up one at a time so the students can give the answers throughout. There is then an extra practice card sort activity. The plenary is a selection of worded questions.

This lesson goes through how to use a prime factor trees to find the highest common multiple and lowest common factor. The settling starter goes over using venn diagrams. The next slide is the learning objective followed by the starter which goes over finding a product of prime factors which they have done in the previous lesson. The main part of the lesson has two examples followed by a notes page so they can put a worked example in their books. There are then some differentiated questions to have a go at. If anyone is still struggling there is a qwizdom with the venn diagrams provided. Finally the plenary is an exit ticket which is on a word document ready to print out. It is planned with an 80 min lesson in mind but could be altered for a shorter lesson.

This is a full lesson plan that has been planned originally for an 80 minute lesson however could be easily adapted to suit shorter lessons. It has a settling starter that helps students start to think of what numbers they can multiply to get the answers given. The learning objective slide includes key words and the grade. There is then a starter to recap prime numbers. The main part of the lesson includes three examples and notes to be copied in books with differentiated questions. There's and additional bingo activity for any students struggling to write the answers in index form. The final part of the lesson is an exit ticket style plenary which there is also a word document for that can be printed to hand out.

This lesson includes a settler to get students started as soon as they enter the room. A starter checking understanding of factors and multiple. It then moves onto Highest Common Factor HCF and Lowest Common Multiple LCM, including a clear example and steps to success that they can put into their books. There are examples with differentiated questions and answers. There is then a card sort activity for anyone who needs more practice. Ending with exam style challenge questions in the plenary. All the slides are animated so that you can just click and it will go through everything, answers appear one at a time so you can get answers from specific students. It is planned with an hour and 20 min lesson in mind but you can remove parts of the activities if you need it shorter.
