ls6372ls6372

New GCSE - Speed

(0)
Lesson looking at using the speed equation with differentiated questions throughout. I took the students outside to time themselves walking, jogging and running different distances. They then calculated their speeds back int eh classroom (you could then get them to draw a bar graph of their results as practice for drawing graphs!). Homework in this lesson is a reverse crossword (a crossword in which the students have to think what the clues would be for each word) Learning Objectives: Recall the equation and formula triangle to calculate speed Calculate distance, time and speed using the equation
