Mastery Learning focuses on the principle that you don't move on from a unit until 80% of the class have mastered the unit. To master the unit students need to score 80% on the unit quiz. A second unit test is provided to retest students who didn't master concepts first time. Those who still don't master the unit are given additional 1:1 help or set homework tasks.
