Assessment Feedback Slips - SPAG/Numeracy/Soft Skills/Targets

These assessment slips were developed by myself to use within a secure setting. I have created a range of slips to suit each teacher requirement, for example: numeracy focus, literacy focus, soft skills focus and general (perfect for vocational and creative subjects) The boxes provide a place for the learner to respond to the feedback and a signature and date box (to help monitor progress) Feel free to ask any questions!

NCFE / OCR / AQA Command Verbs - Bloom's Taxonomy

I created this reference sheet for use in my establishment. I find it supports both myself and the learners with their understanding of the various verbs used within the assessment criteria for their qualification. The colours are coded to sit alongside the TEEP taxonomy tube map The title verbs are taken from Bloom’s Taxonomy (Anderson’s Revised) Feel free to ask any questions!

Embedding Literacy & Numeracy in Graphic Design

I created these slips for learners on my course to demonstrate how they have embedded literacy and/or numeracy into their graphic design This is a big push within young offender learning and it helps the learners to understand the relevance of core subjects within pathways and the real world Happy to edit the PDF for other subject areas - please just contact me!

Visual Language Support Sheet / Mat - Art & Graphic Design - Embedding Literacy

(1)
This resource is something I designed to help embed literacy within my qualification. The front of the resource contains a highly colourful range of examples to demonstrate the formal elements in Art and visual elements in Graphic Design. The back of the resource contains: Support for annotating work (with bullet points to encourage thinking) Sentence starters to help reflect on positives about a piece of their design/art Sentence starters to help reflect on areas to improve about a piece of their design/art Sentence starters to help reflect on things the learner does not like about about a piece of their design/art I chose to laminate these (double sided) and each learner has one in their folder to use as a point of reference if required. They would also work laminated and stuck to tables or even made larger and displayed on classroom walls.

Numeracy in Art & Design - WORD MAT

Colourful and interesting numeracy in Art & Design word mat I designed this to be used alongside the NCFE Graphic Design & Art & Design qualifications, however it would also work for KS3 and KS4 in mainstream schools. Contains cubism, tessellation, symmetry, perspective, enlargement and scale factor, and ratio I have also created a literacy mat in a similar style I have laminated these and they are available for my learners in a folder in the classroom. They could also be stuck to desks or inserted into portfolios to support with annotation and theory work.
