This is a PowerPoint I created for GCSE Graphic Products students in Year 11. The PowerPoint supports with the development and evaluation of the Controlled Assessment. It can also be printed out for reference in class Feel free to ask me any questions.

This is part of an ongoing project I am developing. As I complete parts of it, I will upload them individually and eventually as a full bundle. Each page of this upload is a different design movement and contains examples of artist’s and designer’s work that were part of the design movement, along with key words. Perfect printed as a display, put into a book, or used as printed inspiration pages for students. This resource is part of a larger scale programme I have created called PROTECT. The full Protect programme has the potential to claim for 5 AQA accreditations, or there is the option to complete any of the 5 AQA accreditations individually. AQA 121374 covers: characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships, benefits of healthy relationships, controllable and uncontrollable factors that affect relationships, key features of effective communication in healthy relationships, personal values required in healthy relationship, personal attitudes that would help develop healthy relationships and respect for others. I created this programme for use with young people in contact with the Youth Justice Service, however I previously taught in mainstream secondary and alternative provisions and definitely feel this would be perfect for any setting. Prior to me writing the qualification, I found very little resources for the NCFE quals so hopefully this will support others now! I created these key word displays and laminated them for use in my classroom. They can also be used laminated as small reference cards. I tried to make the words visually appealing and creative, in order to inspire and help learners recognise key words and their definitions. These work well in a secure setting, however I have no doubt that they would also work in mainstream education. Feel free to ask any questions!

This is a very large booklet I designed for the boys I work with in a Young Offender’s Institute. The booklet can either be self-directed or taught and contains a wide range of tasks, activities and information. I have used a key to demonstrate cross-curricular pages. There are opportunities for stretch & challenge tasks, as well as a wide range of written and practical activities. I have tried to make the booklet colourful and interesting (my design side coming through). Subjects covered include: graphic design, maths, English, geography, PSHE, as well as British Values. This Stop & Search programme is designed for use with children and young people who have been / or are likely to be stopped and searched by the police. It can be used by staff in Youth Offending Teams for young people on court orders or prevention programmes, and by youth workers, Early Help and other social care officers, teachers and school staff and staff in secure settings. This programme is designed to be run in order, with key information linked to stop and search, along with relevant activities that help meet the AQA criteria. The booklet can be printed as a whole, or you have the option to print individual worksheets and to use the PowerPoint digitally. Completion of this programme can lead to ONE AQA Unit Award Scheme Accreditation. For the AQA, certain tasks must be completed. If the full Stop & Search programme is completed, with all tasks, then the linked AQA can be claimed for! I have started to create a bank of worksheets focusing on various designers / artists / illustrators. These stem from my initial design movement worksheets (also available on my account). I use these worksheets to introduce young offenders (15-18) to a range of designers and artists. These worksheets could also be left as cover, or even set as a homework task to build learner knowledge and understanding. Each worksheet has two parts, the information sheet and the corresponding worksheet. This is a resource I have created as part of my new role working as a Youth Justice Worker with young people in the community. The project covers in detail: County Lines Child Criminal Exploitation It is designed to be used in one of two ways: As a full programme / scheme of work - this can be fully printed into booklets (all pages printed) As a full programme / scheme of work - with only the worksheets printed and the rest of the pages used as PowerPoint / visuals As one off lessons / interventions - parts can be printed or used ad hoc I have included a project overview at the start, with learning outcomes and descriptions of each task. The resource is quite bulky and was created on a Mac. I have added to this resource a PDF and PowerPoint version.
