I have read everywhere how important Thinking Hat Questions are when it comes to reading. However, when I looked on the TES for lots of examples of other teachers work, I could not find a lot. Every day I am trying to add some more thinking hat resources I am making for my class to TES. It has been shown that Thinking Hat Questions promote higher thinking and reading skills in children and yet when it came to actually finding lots of these resources on this website, I could not find any and so I am planning to write worksheets each night and share them with everyone. I would love a review of my work and also any suggestions on what other children's books people would like me to add to this collection.
I have developed an idea. Did you know that during your registration period every day, you could be actively making your whole class happier? This could be done in the morning, the afternoon or even better at the end of each day before they go home.
All they do is complete this 21 page daily journal on things which make them happy. I have used it and I can say it does make a big difference to how you approach life.

I have decided to build as many Thinking Hat resources as I can for TES readers. I have started by making resources for the fabulous Magic Train book (Published by Barefoot books).
I took into account the need for simple text, clear font and I only have used self made resources and public domain resources, I have not used images from the books. I have organised them into sets of three - 3 Red Hat, 3 Yellow Hat, 3 Black Hat, 3 White Hat, 3 Green Hat and 1 Blue Hat. Comments for future improvements welcome.
