My class are reading Charlotte’s web, so I created some addition word problems for them based on the book. Hope they are useful to somebody else. There are 3 levels a= 3 digit numbers b= 4 and 5 digit numbers c= 5 and 6 digit numbers with a bit of subtraction thrown in!

My class have been doing the book ‘How to train your dragon’ and a topic on Vikings- Years 4, 5 and 6. I created this pack to use with my class next week for a whole school RE day with a Christmas theme. It could be done over several lessons though. There is a clear and easy to follow lesson plan. A powerpoint which clearly follows the plan A worksheet There are great creative links to art and design and lots of whole class discussions/whiteboard activities etc. I have just updated this Powerpoint and improved it slightly to use this year with my class across a few days.
