Ser and adjectives simple practice Complete each table with the correct conjugation of Ser and the appropriate adjective for each subject (personality, physical trait, and nationality). Use the list below for adjectives. Do not repeat any adjectives or nationalities. Be sure that all adjectives agree in number (singular / plural) and in gender (masculine / feminine) with the subject (person). *There are 15 subjects total. Students will write their responses in a template provided. For each subject students will write 3 short sentences (adjective of personality, adjective of physical trait, and adjective of nationality) *Note: For some subjects, students will have to use a Hispanic nationality, as indicated. *A table with conjugations of Ser, adjectives of personality, physical traits, and nationality is provided. Abridged notes on how to make adjectives plural are included as well. This practice can be used for classwork, homework, review, study guide, quiz / test, entry or exit slip. Question words with present tense sentence practice For each verb type (-ar, -er, -ir) there are two parts. Part 1: Write the correct translation of each question word using the word bank. (12 total) Word bank: Why / With whom Ex: ¿Con quién? ______ ¿Por qué? ______ Part 2: For each subject (person), write the present tense conjugation of the verb. Then, add 2-3 words to create an original sentence based on the question word. (10 total) Sample: Subject (Yo) + Conjugation of Hablar (to speak) + ¿Con quién? (Add 2-3 words) Pages 1-2: -AR verbs / Pages 3-4: -ER verbs / Pages 5-6: -IR verbs Note: *Only regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs are used. *For each sentence, the English translation of the infinitive is included. *A table with present tense -ar, -er, -ir verb endings is also included. *For each verb type, Part 1 (12 question words) will be the same or identical. Answer key is included on pages 7-12 for question words and verb conjugations only. Student answers will vary for the sentences. This practice can be used for classwork, homework, review, quiz, bell ringer, entry / exit slip, or sub plans.
