Reflexive verbs: Introductory conjugation practice and original sentences This is a practice on conjugating reflexive verbs as students are being introduced to the topic. A structured template is provided for students to conjugate 7 reflexive infinitives (3 regular verbs and 4 stem change verbs). The template includes subject pronouns and students have to complete it with appropriate reflexive pronouns, infinitive stem, and present tense endings. In part 2: Students will use the 8 reflexive verbs from part 1 (4 regular and 4 stem change) and write 8 original sentence in the template provided. Note: There are 8 reflexive verbs because the verb mirarse is used as a model for student reference in part 1. Verbs included: Regular: lavarse, bañarse, afeitarse Stem change: despertarse, acostarse, vestirse, dormirse Answer key is included for part 1 conjugations only. He has saved up $450 to buy Christmas presents for his family (mother, father, younger brother Pablo, younger sister Paula, and his grandparents). His goal is to spend $450 or less. Complete the short conversation below between Marcos and his family members about what they each would like for Christmas, using the present tense of the verb in parenthesis. For the conversation, students will complete 6 lines (6 conjugations only) After the conversation students will compare prices at two stores (la luna and la edad nueva) where Marcos plans to shop. Then, they will fill out two invoices (one for each store) including sales tax and any applicable discount. Students can complete this activity alone or in pairs.
