I created this resource in preparation for the Summer 2021 exams. However due to the pandemic I was able to use my resource as a starter or short task on exam style questions. This generator produces past paper exam questions on the different areas on the foundation tier for GCSE Maths.
Any feedback greatly appreciated.
This spreadsheet generates easy 1 mark GCSE Edexcel Foundation questions similar to those from past papers from June 2017 till Nov 2018. I’m annoyed by the marks easily lost from my KS4 groups and developed this so they may become fluent in answering these types of questions . I’m currently showing the questions on an IWB and then revealing answers after a couple mins. This is my first attempt using Excel to generate questions but please let me know what you think or any suggestions for improvement.
Practice makes better. Give your child, class pupils or tuition groups unlimited practice at the GCSE Nov19 Foundation Papers (Pearson). Once a paper has been marked, corrected and feedback given we need to ensure that pupils are given opportunities to redo the paper and see if they can improve from their previous attempt. A student friendly mark scheme is also provided. This I’m hoping is a game changer particularly for retrieval purposes for exams. All 3 papers are provided and are free.
