The Do Now task is a series of multiple choice questions focusing on Tupac’s ‘The Rose that Grew from Concrete’. This is self-assessed. After this, learners examine the requirements of the AQA 870 Literature course in order to determine how and where unseen poetry fits in. This is followed by a return to Tupac’s poem and a focus on some of the poetic methods used. The methods are pre-identified so that learners need only consider the effects.
