A fun game to give intensive practice of describing pets and colours. It can be used with any language without needing to adapt. Players create a phrase by throwing a dice to give them picture combinations and can practise any or all of the following - names of animals, singular and plurals, possessive adjectives, the verbs ‘to be’ and ‘to have’. Further instructions are on the first slide.

An A4 size learning mat in full colour. Different types of words (opinions, qualifiers, adjectives, modal verbs, connectives etc) are included and colour coded to encourage pupils to use as many different word types as possible. Try to make your sentence as ‘colourful’ as possible by using words from as many different boxes as you can. Ideal for helping to ingrain the high frequency language essential for GCSE.
