Each character tells you about its grapheme and uses sounds spots to support reading and spelling. Once children are familiar with the family they can explore best bet rules and then apply their learning by using the dictated sentences also within the powerpoint. Two copies are included, one which uses my preferred font of Letterjoin and one with comic sans.

The Word Wizards are a group of wizards who explain word types and their jobs to children. In this presentation you will meet Norbert Noun and his newt named Neil who together explain the difference between a proper and a common noun and the need for a capital letter.
