This reader’s theater script for Frankenstein is based on Mary Shelley’s original 1818 short story. It is great for learning centers or station rotations and covers themes of Responsibility, Isolation, Ambition, Nature vs. Nurture, and Consequences. The reading difficulty is suitable for grades 6~12 depending on the levels represented in your classroom.

This FREE reader’s theater script for The Birth of Jesus is based on the accounts from Luke 2 and Matthew 1 & 2. This resource includes two differentiated versions for grade levels 3~5 and 6~8., each version is designed with age-appropriate language and Flesch-Kincaid reading scores. This story focuses on the themes of Hope, Faith, and God’s Protection.
This short script should take about +15 minutes to read depending on your classroom’s level. They are perfect for supplementing bible class, reading practice, small group reading, centers/stations or just getting comfortable reading in public.
This script tells the story of the birth of Jesus. Joseph and Mary travel to Bethlehem because of a census. When they arrive, there’s no room at the inn, so they stay in a stable. Jesus is born there and laid in a manger. Angels tell shepherds about Jesus’ birth, and they visit him. Wise men from the East follow a star to find Jesus and bring him gifts. King Herod wants to harm Jesus, but Joseph is warned in a dream, and the family escapes to Egypt. Later, they return safely to Nazareth, where Jesus grows up.

Free Character Trait List is a simple yet effective 2 page handout and is a great way to increase vocabulary for character trait activities. I recommend printing one copy, double sided, for each student at the beginning of the year to save in their ELA binder so they can use it as a reference. This is a great addition to my Free Character Traits Comparison Worksheet at my store.

Wonder Short Film Series “Please Recycle” #ChooseKind Mini Movie Guide asks students to identify the RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) shown in YouTube video of the same name.
After viewing the film, brainstorm as a class opportunities where students can #choosekind throughout their day. Then, as an optional ongoing assignment, ask students to journal each day the ways in which they were able to #choosekind, opportunities to #choosekind that they may have missed, and ways that they were shown kindness from others.
