This is the eleventh lesson in a series created for the A Level unit Democracy and Dictatorship in Germany. It considers the debate relating to the recovery of the economy under Stresemann, and involves activities requiring the students to evaluate evidence and reach conclusions in relation to different historical interpretations. It also introduces and requires students to write a 20 mark essay for homework. Ideally this lesson should be taught in conjunction with the Access to History, Democracies and Dictatorships in Germany, but other text books could be used to support it.

This is the twelfth lesson for the A Level democracy and dictatorships in Germany unit, and it focuses on an assessment of the perceived political stability of the Weimar Republic 1924-30. It looks at the difficulties of forming coalitions, but also the decline of extremism. Research into key person Paul Von Hindenburg. This lesson would take an hour to teach, but home learning would be needed to complete all of the activities.

It looks at the conflict between liberals and conservatives in relation to the cultural developments under the Weimar government, and contains a 20 mark essay for students to do. All activities are included within the power point, however students will need access to the unit text book. This lesson takes an hour to teach, but significant home learning will be needed for students to complete the activities.

This lesson is the fourth lesson in the A Level Comparative Politics unit - it involves looking at the amendment process to the US constitution and evaluating why it is so difficult to change the original Constitution. This lesson focuses on considering how amendment takes places and evaluating why the Constitution has been amended so infrequently with a focus on key terms, and contains activities and discussions to extend student thinking. This lesson would take an hour to teach, however the task may need to be completed as home study. It is fully resourced but some of the activities require reference to the Pearson Edexcel A Level text book.

It considers the importance of black history and highlights the journey from slavery to the most powerful man in the world. It consists of 12 lessons and requires students to think about whether or not the First World War was ever concluded. It examines all second order concepts, but it is primarily based on being able to demonstrate cause and consequence. All lessons are fully resourced. These are the 11th and 12 th lessons which involve a creative assessment activity following finishing the content in lesson 10, a word search for individual completion and a grou quiz. This resource doubles up as an assembly and/or a lesson suitable for Bastille day 2024. The assembly is contained in the first part of the power point and looks at the Bastille day celebrations through the use of clips; images and information, and links it to the story of the French Revolution. It takes between 20 and 30 minutes to deliver. The assembly could also be used as an introduction to a lesson on the French Revolution, and the second part of the power point contains a lesson about the causes of the French Revolution using source materials and an extended writing task. The lesson is suitable for either key stage 3 or the older students in key stage 2
