The tasks are differentiated and can either be assigned to particular pupils, or pupils can choose their own level of challenge. Topics covered include: family, relationships, marriage, school, town/city, house and home, holidays, travel, festivals & customs, environment, healthy living, sports. Pupils should do this task in exam conditions and without using additional resources - I would also recommend peer assessment as a good way of pupils learning from each other’s mistakes etc.
