AQA English Language Paper 2 Walking Talking Mock through questions 1-4 with an additional question 5 task as homework. Extracts provided.
Writing frames provided and exemplar responses given. Each question discussed in great detail, particularly when it comes to analysis of quotes - plenty of in-depth analysis included in PPT for students to see.

A double lesson looking at Q1,2&3 of the AQA English Language Paper 1 using an extract from Northanger abbey.
Students will be prompted with guided annotations on the lesson and have sentence starters/model responses in order to write a good response for the language and structure questions.
Video’s to engage interest in the extract are included.

Has a short exemplar descriptive writing piece and task at the end using SOAPAMS techniques and an image - very typical of AQA Language Paper 1. Students can use this as a starting point to then write the remainder of the answer.
This is a 6 week SOW comprised of 18 PowerPoint lessons (roughly 100 minutes per lesson). Contains two assessment lessons/opportunities.
It teaches narrative writing (aimed at KS3-KS4) and uses the AQA Telling Tales Short Story Anthology to understand key components of narrative writing ahead of the AQA Language GCSE. If you do not have anthologies from AQA, I have found that all stories used in these lessons can be located on genius.com. Stories are read alongside the lessons to aid understanding of narrative writing as well as develop vocab/punctuation etc.
SOW contains many independent/paired/group tasks, peer assessment opportunities, annotated exemplar pieces of narrative writing alongside the short stories and delves into many topics. Topics addressed include:
