Could you be Greengates Primary Academy’s next Head of Academy? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring leader who is excited to make a significant difference to children’s lives through shaping their education, to join us at Easter 2025 (although we may be flexible around this), on a full time, permanent basis.

What can I expect as a Head of Academy within Delta Academies Trust?
· Joining a successful Multi Academy Trust, who are transforming educational outcomes for students in some of the most deprived areas in the North of England.
· You’ll receive individual support as a Leader from our successful team of Executive Principals, and support from our Directors of Learning to ensure teaching and learning is delivered effectively.
· You’ll join a large network of our other Heads of Academy and Principals across the Trust, meaning lots of collaboration and peer support
· You’ll have access to ongoing CPD (both internally and externally) with opportunity to further develop your skills and career alike
What can I expect as Head of Academy at Greengates Primary Academy:
· You’ll be leading a Primary Academy valuing continuous professional development of all our team, recognising our staff and students are most successful when they feel happy, valued, challenged and supported to achieve.
· You’ll be leading a team of staff who are incredibly talented and enthusiastic, who have all contributed to the academy’s success story.
· You’ll be based on the North Leeds Bradford border, between Caverley and Idle.
· You’ll be leading 1 form entry school, offering education from Early Years through to Key Stage 2.

Who Are We?
Greengates Primary Academy is a 1 form entry primary school on the Leeds / Bradford border. We provide an inclusive, innovative curriculum tailored to suit the needs of our children. Our curriculum is engaging, inspiring and stimulating, designed to provide our children with as many life experiences as possible including living as historical characters in our forest school, working experimentally in Science, debating current issues in Oracy and providing every child in school the opportunity to represent the school in interschool sports competitions. We believe in educating the whole child through dovetailing life skills into the children’s learning such as perseverance, collaboration and questioning, to further enhance these life skills they are linked to our Houses. We have named our Houses after heroes we believe exhibit these qualities such as Stephen Hawking, JK Rowling and The Help for Heroes charity.
