Is it masculine or feminine when a word doesn’t end in “-o” or “-a”? As I teach my students how to recognize the grammatical NOUN gender of a word, I teach the about MA-L-O-N-E-R-S and D-IÓN-Z-A endings. There are always exceptions to the rule, but this is a good start. I use this worksheet as a quick assessment with my students. It is quick and easy. Sometimes, I use one row per day, and sometimes I use this as a quick assessment. It is easy to grade and it comes with a KEY for the teacher.
The last page is blank. Teachers can fill in the words they want students to practice. I have made and filled that first two pages. This is an excellent activity to be used as: TOD, Quiz, Bell work, Substitute teacher day, Game, etc. It can be used with any Spanish level, but I always start in Spanish 1 with the first Chapter of ANY book.
