Short Term Lesson Plan with in depth music assessment opportunities identified and planned for.
Outcomes:
• create sounds to describe images
• Ability to use voice in different ways (singing)
• Perform using untuned percussion
•Respond to music through dance.
This is part of a whole scheme of work to develop children's ability to perform music. Pupils will create descriptive music for sound stories, animals and woodland images. They will combine and perform rhythmic and melodic material, developing their understanding that music, like pictures, can describe images and moods. Pupils will respond to music using Makaton, dance and art.
