This 11k word document contains essays written for the A Level in Classical Civilisation (Art and Architecture module) and comments on these. There are 3 A* grade essays, 3 A grade essays and 5 B grade essays. The questions were either created by a teacher or taken from the OCR website of past papers. Examples include '‘Regular, repetitive and boring.’ How far do you agree with this assessment of Archaic art?’ and '‘Analyse the content and composition of this pot by Euphronios.’ There are a mixture of 25 and 50 mark questions.
These essays provide an excellent way to see what examiners are looking for in essays. Critical quotations are also included.
