A Level Sociology Research Methods: Questionnaires

This is a complete lesson consisting of 26 slides which cover all the content needed for students to grasp what questionnaires are from the AQA Sociology specification. They will learn about:

  1. Positivist and interpretivists understanding of questionnaires
  2. Strengths and limitations of questionnaires
  3. The practical, ethical and theoretical issues of using questionnaires
  4. Application of questions in investigating education

The powerpoint also include exam practice as well as a step-by-step guide of answering a 20 mark methods in context question. There is also ample opportunities for students to apply and test their knowledge and understanding.

This is a great resource for specialist and non-specialist teachers to deliver the lesson on questionnaires. This has been used by myself for a number of years and has resulted in great exam results every year.
