African Drumming

A keynote presentation designed to take a small group or full class through the basics of African drumming and beyond.
The course contains 23 lessons in total designed to be taught over 45 minutes - 1 hour.
The course contains detailed descriptions and cultural context for all rhythms studied with illustrations and animations.
Presenter / Teacher notes for each lesson are provided.

The course can also be printed to hand out to students / other staff members.
Additional hand out / worksheets that accompany this course are also available from my store.

This course is perfect as a stand alone look at African drumming as well as a great addition to your existing music syllabus. The course does not have to be taught in it’s entirety or indeed in the order that I have prescribed. Each lesson can be used as a stand alone lesson; perfect for looking at rhythm with a variety of age groups.
