I’m using this for the Unit 2 - Developing a Marketing Campaign (BTEC L3 Business). The idea is that they use the data supplied (along with other data they have found, if you are in a computer room) to support their answers.
Before I gave them this I taught my class the Price element of the 7Ps, including the 4 pricing strategies (Penetration, Competitor-based, Cost-plus and Skimming).
This is simply a load of information about the electric car market in the UK and how Tesla compare with Polestar, along with some questions at the bottom of the case study.
We discussed the 2nd question together and the class came up with a number of points regarding Tesla’s successful marketing strategy.
