This resource contains over 40 Power Point slides including varied activities (with all solutions included), texts, video clips, audios and illustrations on the topic of Christmas celebrations in Spain and the wider Hispanic world. Task types include: translating, quizzes, matching up, filling the gaps, ‘true or false’ and many prompts for writing and speaking. Audio and video resources are included, accessed through links.
The main outcome is to learn/revise facts, vocabulary, grammar and phrases related to the topic, as part of the Customs and Festivals section of the GCSE syllabus. Tasks vary in complexity and are grouped correspondingly into different Key Stages (KS3, KS4 and KS5). This is, thus, an ideal resource for Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 students.
